Supply of goods is restricted to the description on our website. We provide growing instructions for many of the species we sell, in the form of freely available downloads from our website. These instructions do not form part of the sale of goods, but are provided at no cost. These instructions are provided 'as is' and no responsibility is taken for any shortcomings. Instructions are therefore provided for use at your own discretion.

Mushrooms

Some mushroom types may be grown easily at home without any specialist equipment. Some mushroom types require specialist equipment to grow. We have not established growing techniques for all types of mushroom - some are yet to be discovered by science. Please bear this in mind when purchasing. Take a look at our Growing Instructions page if you need growing instructions - if no instructions are listed we may not be able to provide guidance.

Worm Composting & Fishing Worms

Dendrobaena are also known as European Nightcrawlers, available in graded sizes to suit your needs.

Large (4+ cm)

Supplied in breathable and compostable or recyclable bags and some bedding and food to last for 7 days, which will help to protect your order during transit. It is also designed for easy use, with a simple design that allows you to keep your product without needing to remove the product until you need it. Please keep below 20C and above 10C, moist and well fed.

We dislike the plastic tubs that other suppliers suggest you refrigerate. Unlike this one-time packaging, which you need to open and store somewhere cold, such as refrigerators. By using our breathable bags, you can start your own mini-worm farm, straight from our starter bag, without any waste. Instructions are available to download.

Animal Bedding

This industrial shredded cardboard is has many uses cut to mm strips, it can be used for packaging and protecting objects but very suitable as pet and bedding. This is an environmentally friendly cardboard which would otherwise be used as landfill and is produced from food quality greengrocery trays and boxes. We designed and then manufactured our own machine that will accept cartons up to 600 x 400 x 300 mm and transform it into fluffy cm cubes of soft and dust free material.

Please keep this product dry until use as it is highly absorbent and easy to pick out the larger items of waste.
